Track-Ready Handling
Jato 4X4 sits low and wide, concentrating its weight below the driveshafts for exceptional handling and perfect weight distribution. Extra-long GTR shocks in the front and rear maximize traction by keeping Jato 4X4’s new Sledgehammer buggy tires in constant contact with the ground. Add the optional sway bar kit (sold separately) for ultra-flat cornering and game-changing on-track performance.
BL-2s Brushless System
The BL-2s brushless power system ramps up the fun with up to 60% more speed and faster acceleration than comparable brushed power systems. Improved efficiency, high-speed ball bearings, and an internal cooling fan allow Jato 4X4 to run battery after battery for all-day fun. With no brushes to wear out, the BL-2s 3300 Kv is long-lasting and requires virtually no maintenance.

Clipless Buggy Body

Jato 4X4 incorporates the high-downforce wing from Sledge® to keep its chassis planted with rugged rollover protection as an added benefit.

3'' Buggy Wheels with Sledgehammer Tires
Jato 4X4 rides on large 3'' buggy wheels with new Sledgehammer buggy tires for game-changing stability and control. The Sledgehammer’s wide, open-block tread design won’t clog up with dirt or debris for superior traction on all types of terrain. The wheels' 17 mm hub design creates a large contact area for extra grip to resist rounding.
Heavy Duty Shock Towers
Jato 4X4’s new heavy duty shock towers are beefed up with double-shear link mounts and extra material to withstand rollovers without incident. The front shock caps are protected under reinforcing ridges and the molded wing locks directly into the rear tower for extra rigidity.
Fixed Gear Adapter
A fixed gear adapter take the guesswork out of setting your gear mesh with five preset gearing positions. Insert the motor screw through the desired gearing position for a perfect gear mesh every time. The fixed positioning also keeps the gear mesh tight, even after the harshest impacts.
T-Bar Chassis Stiffener
Jato 4X4 borrows a page from Sledge’s top-spec engineering by incorporating its unique T-Bar chassis stiffener design. The T-Bar delivers cross-sectional stiffness no round tube can match.
Waterproof Receiver Box
A waterproof receiver box keeps the receiver safe and dry while still allowing easy access for maintenance. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a patented water-tight seal for true all-weather fun.
3-Channel Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be activated.
Digital Steering Servo
Agile handling requires a steering servo that’s both strong and fast. The included 2075 digital high-speed high-torque servo features ball bearings for precise control and quick reflexes.
Dual Bellcrank Steering with Servo Saver
The dual-bellcrank design pivots smoothly even in the harshest conditions. An integrated cam-type servo saver protects the steering servo from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.
Aerodynamic Bulkhead Cover
Jato 4X4’s aerodynamic bulkhead cover incorporates mounts for the optional sway bar (sold separately). Low-profile skid plates in the front and rear give Jato 4X4’s suspension maximum down travel while reducing the risk of snagging and scraping.
Long-Travel Suspension
Jato 4X4 uses XX-long GTR shocks at all four corners for ultra-plush suspension travel to swallow up bumps and deliver incredible control. Performance-optimized suspension components provide maximum articulation without binding or interference.
